Richard M. Salsberg

(1945 - 2005)

We mourn the loss of our partner and friend.

Rich was a role model, a mentor, a brilliantly

skilled and dedicated attorney, and an inspiration

to all who knew him. We will miss him dearly.

 

   

Firm News:  Thomas H. Prol served as the Moderator of the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education's seminar entitled, "Making Green by Building Green: A Lawyer's Guide to the Environmental & Economic Benefits of Green Buildings." The seminar was held on Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

Firm News:  Victor E. Kinon was named to Real Estate New Jersey magazine’s list of the most prominent real estate attorneys in the State. Mr. Kinon was highlighted in the magazine’s “Meet the Real Estate Lawyers” section where he was lauded for his over 30 years of real estate experience and his ability to review and evaluate real estate projects and transactions in a corporate law environment, a law firm situation and an educational atmosphere.

Firm News: Six Scarinci & Hollenbeck, LLC attorneys have been chosen as “Super Lawyers,” an honor bestowed on only 5% of the total lawyers in New Jersey. The Super Lawyers list, produced by the national publication Law & Politics, is the result of a multi-step evaluation process that incorporates peer recognition and professional achievement. The Scarinci & Hollenbeck, LLC attorneys named as New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2008 are Donald Scarinci (Government/Cities/Municipalities), Victor E. Kinon (Real Estate), John M. Firm Announcement: We are pleased to announce that Joseph W. Oxley, former Sheriff of Monmouth County, President of the American Jail Association and Mayor of Middletown Township, has joined the firm as a Partner, where he will be resident in the firm’s Freehold office. Mr. Oxley will Chair the firm’s newly created Crisis Management Group, focusing on risk analysis, emergency preparedness, continuity of operations, public relations management and internal fraud investigations. Firm News:  Thomas H. Prol with serve as a panelist at New Jersey Future's Smart Growth/Redevelopment Forum's event entitled "Harnessing Redevelopment to Fight Climate Change." The program will explore government efforts to encourage redevelopment in the context of addressing climate change. In New Jersey, Governor Corzine’s initiatives include plans to reduce energy use and greenhouse-gas emissions while revitalizing cities and growing the economy. New York City’s PlaNYC is a sweeping effort to enhance the city’s urban environment through a 30 percent reduction in emissions. These programs underscore the leading role cities and towns will play in a “bright green future.” This event will take place on February 29, 2008 in New Brunswick, NJ.
