Andrew Indeck is the Chair of the firm's Litigation Group and of the firm's Insurance Practice sub-group. Mr. Indeck has successfully litigated claims involving the following areas of law: legal, medical and accounting professional liability, construction defects and related surety and performance bond issues, commercial litigation, commercial insurance subrogation claims, employment discrimination (L.A.D. and A.D.A.), products liability, Civil Rights §§ 1983 and 1985, general liability and environmental law. In the product liability area, he has successfully litigated claims involving Federal preemption, toxic torts, flammability and asbestos exposure. Mr. Indeck's experience in these areas includes representation of insurance carriers, their insureds, private individuals and companies, municipalities and other public entities in the above types of matters.

Mr. Indeck has specialized and extensive experience in coverage issues pertaining to the following types of insurance policies: Directors and Officers, Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices Liability Insurance, Surety and Performance Bond, Comprehensive General Liability, Legal, Accounting and Medical Professional Errors and Omissions, Commercial Property and Casualty, Inland Marine and Business Auto. He also has significant experience in the area of commercial indemnification and its impact on insurance coverage issues and has lectured to the insurance industry on this subject.

Related to his experience with the insurance industry, Mr. Indeck has significant experience assisting clients impacted by and/or associated with State imposed Rehabilitation and Liquidation of financially troubled insurance carriers. He also has assisted clients participating in domestic and off-shore captive insurance programs with respect to valuation, claims history, underwriting, underwriting profit, and investment income. Mr. Indeck has also assisted clients in the formation and administration of Joint Insurance Funds ("JIF").

Mr. Indeck is a frequent speaker on topics relating to insurance coverage issues and various aspects of trial strategy. He is often asked to participate in in-house seminars at insurance companies. Most recently, he presented “Technology in Litigation and the Courtroom” to AEGIS Insurance Services. Mr. Indeck was named to the New Jersey Law Journal's "40 Under 40" list. The New Jersey Law Journal's annual special issue honors a select group of 40 young, exceptional attorneys in private practices across the state of New Jersey.
