Robert E. Levy’s areas of practice include civil litigation, labor litigation, criminal law, criminal trial practice, constitutional law and election law. He is a Certified Civil and Criminal Trial Attorney, Supreme Court of New Jersey, Board of Trial Attorney Certification. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Levy served as Deputy Attorney General, State of New Jersey, Special Prosecution Section from 1984-1987, Organized Crime Bureau from 1987-1989, and Supervising Deputy Attorney General - Corruption Investigation from 1989-1994. In addition, Mr. Levy served as Assistant Mercer County Prosecutor from 1977-1983, Director of the Welfare Fraud Unit from 1978-1979, Director of the Arson Response Unit from 1979-1983 and Director of the Homicide Unit from 1981-1983. Mr. Levy has lectured extensively on a variety of topics, including ethics in local government, trial strategy and tactics, and election law. He is frequently called upon to conduct seminars for organizations such as the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Education and the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys. Currently, Mr. Levy is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has lectured extensively, serving as Lecturer - Office of the Attorney General - Division of Law, Division of Criminal Justice, Division of State Police Division of Consumer Affairs; New Jersey Department of Treasury - Division of Taxation; Institute for Continuing Legal Education; Master - Hudson County Inns of Court.
