Thomas Segreto handles a wide variety of litigation matters, including civil rights litigation, liability claims, contract disputes and matters involving civil service, discrimination and the New Jersey Tort Claims Act. Mr. Segreto’s practice encompasses the areas of local government law and land use and zoning. He has handled matters on behalf of municipalities pertaining to civil liability, municipal court appeals, matters involving public entities and its officers and employees, bid specifications and Local Public Contract Law issues.

Mr. Segreto currently serves as General Counsel to the Municipal Clerks Association of New Jersey, Inc. In addition to providing advice and counsel on operating issues, he frequently provides training on the Open Public Records Act and Open Public Meetings Act, as well as other local ordinances and laws. He just recently obtained a Tax Free 501(c)(3) designation for the MCANJ to operate as a tax free educational institution.
