Christine Vanek concentrates her practice in civil litigation, including public entity litigation and civil rights litigation. She has been involved with litigation of varying magnitude regarding a multitude of business/commercial litigation issues. Her practice leads her into a variety of state and federal courts as well as state administrative tribunals. In addition, she works with many of the firm’s public clients, advising them in a wide range of areas. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Vanek held various positions in municipal government, including two appointments as municipal clerk for a municipality in Bergen County. Currently, she serves as a Commissioner to the New Jersey State Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission. This year, New Jersey Law Journal included Ms. Vanek in its annual “40 Under 40” list, an honor bestowed upon a select group of 40 young, exceptional attorneys in private practices across the state of New Jersey. Ms. Vanek is also one of New Jersey’s leading litigators of cases under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) contained at 47 U.S.C. §227 et. seq. She represents consumers asserting their rights against entities who have not complied with the TCPA as well as corporations who seek guidance on fulfilling their obligations under the TCPA.
